What we do

Weekly Drop-in Sessions

Baby Zone provides friendly, welcoming space to meet other new parents and their babies (under 1 year) for a drink and a chat.  Each week we offer a safe space to play, a range of toys, a friendly face, an extra pair of hands and the chance to share experiences and build relationships. 

Once a month we have a special session with a theme or a visit from local organisations (see coming up for the current plan). We have a regular pattern of these, but have the flexibility to include new ideas. We try to include activities that families request too. 

Swap Shops

Once a term we run a baby and toddler Swap Shop, where families can bring a bag of outgrown toys and clothes to swap for the next stage. We swap toys, clothes and equipment for ages 0 to 5 years. Everything is free, and many families donate without taking so please take more than you bring. 

Any good quality surplus will be offered to local baby banks and pre-school groups.

Swap shops are usually the Thursday morning before the half-term break. (October, February and May.)

In the Community

Since 2018, we have been providing baby facilities at the Billingshurst Show. 

We have a large tent which we divide into three areas providing:

• Secluded breastfeeding space - bottle feeding also welcome.
• Shaded play space
• Nappy changing facilities and resources

Here we provide nappies, wipes and other changing bag essentials to those using our tent. We also offer community sun cream. Pop along and say hello.

In 2025, we hope to attend other local community events too.
